Hello there! I'm Michael!
I am a first generation Korean-American from the Bay Area, and I would love to be a part of your next production. I have proudly served our country in the United States Air Force, and as an Airman, I believe in integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do. As a performing artist, I think it is our responsibility to share the stories of the human condition with genuine emotional connection and thoughtful consideration to the work. When this is achieved, we can change the world. I would like to accomplish this with you.
I began my journey in the East Bay of Northern California. I have had the pleasure of performing on Chabot's Theatre in productions such as The Government Inspector, Lonestar, and Superior Donuts. During my time at PCPA, I have been honored to share the main stage with passionate artists in shows such as Twelfth Night, Freaky Friday, and The Crucible. I have recently completed my Emerging Professional Residency at the Milwaukee Rep Theatre where I was a part of many wonderful productions as well as the 2018-2019 Rep Lab. So long as the sun rises, I will rise and be ready for the challenge, for the next project. Please see photo gallery below for a closer look.
I am very excited to be a part of the San Jose Stage's summer producution of Mamma Mia! where I will be playing the role of Pepper. This will be my second time performing in this bright and beautiful musical and I am thrilled to be working alongside motivated and talented artists for the Bay Area community that I call home! Tickets are going fast so don't wait! For more information go to https://www.thestage.org/season/mamma-mia
See you at the show!!!
